Summer is upon us and although we are still BUSY working to protect our climate, contacting legislators, sending newsletters, and organizing events, we are hoping to be a little less busy June, July and August. Here is a brief overview of some of our summer plans…

Wednesdays Work Party – Wednesday mornings from 9am to 12pm, the SSCAN outreach team gathers to work on the bi-monthly newsletter, write editorials, write blog articles, update email lists, drink tea, laugh and have fun. We usually have about 20 things  to work on and can only get to about 10 so we are always looking for new helpers. (FYI – We will only be sending the newsletter once a month during June July and August.) If you are interested in joining us, please contact This summer we will be taking a few Wednesdays off.
