In September of 2015, Andrew left his career as a mediator, facilitator and planner to work full time as a climate activist and to build a backyard cottage at his house. The cottage is done but the activism is just getting underway. Andrew has been with SSCAN for a couple of years, and is a member of the steering committee, and currently writes the newsletter and plans the monthly meetings. Andrew also volunteers with 350Seattle where he has been active in organizational development work and the community solutions campaign. Andrew is involved in legislative lobbying and has a long term interest in planning for equitable and sustainable communities. Andrew has a son at Franklin High School and a daughter in art college in San Francisco.
